It's 5 O'Clock at the Oasis

It's funny how the anxiety I associate with this blog mounts as the days tick by in which I have not posted. It's like not doing my homework... and I ALWAYS did my homework. There was even a summer in early high school when our English teacher assigned us to read The Mayor of Casterbridge and gave assignments to accompany the reading. I was either high when I read the instructions for the assignment or I was just an insufferable over-achiever - I'm fuzzy on the details, but over the course of the summer I read the book, wrote 200+ pages of "Journal" entries about it and did 500 vocabulary word definitions including writing out where I found them in the book and incorporating them into sentences of my own. When I handed in the book of an assignment, my teacher gave me a look of speechless horror. I'm pretty sure she gave me an A out of pity and shock.

Today I would like to introduce you to phase 2 of the Craft room. I posted previous photos of the initial transformation below. More transformation to come when I finish the bunting I'm sewing up, and after I've framed and hung 9 more prints for the walls. Excited? I know I am!

Hey there! I read on your flickr that you got those bars from ikea, and the cups hanging from them were sold separately. Is there any way you know what they are called? I'm horrendously jealous of your craft room, and am starting a list of how to recreate it for my own.
